Trophies will be awarded for Grand Champion and Reserve in each age group. Royalty Contest The Royalty Contest consists of Written Application, Written Test, Interview, Showmanship and Judging. Written application and photo must be mailed to the first address (Bergene) by April 1, 2009. Awards will be given to the top three places in each division. Any volunteers would be greatly appreciated. We will not mail any awards for any of the contests. Please follow the directions carefully. Please include the information in this order: Category/Age group This application must be filled out in full and have all the necessary signatures to be accepted. You must type this form on a separate sheet of paper. The maximum length of this application will be 5 pages, single spaced, on one side only. Applicants must include all information and questions. Include a photograph of yourself with this application. There is a 20 point deduction if photo not included. 1. How many years have you raised Dutch rabbits and how did you get started? 2. What varieties do you raise and why? 3. List your outstanding awards or achievements in your Dutch project beginning with your most recent ones over the past three years. 4. What offices or committees have you served on in local, state, or national rabbit/4-H/FFA clubs? 5. What have you done to promote the Dutch breed and make others aware of your project? 6. How have you helped others learn about Dutch? 7. How do you feel that your rabbit project will help you in your future endeavors? 8. What are your goals for your Dutch herd in the coming year? 9. Describe the housing and care you provide for your animals for the different seasons of the year. 10. Describe the records you keep and how you keep them. 11. What specifically do you do to help with the care and upkeep of your project? 12. If you are the next winner for this title, how do you plan to use it toward the good of the breed? 13. What would you like us to know that has not been asked?
